2020Happy Mallie Monday! I can’t believe it’s already November.
I was actually discussing this with my best friend this morning at length - I think that November is my favorite time of the year, no matter if I’m living in San Diego or New York. November in New York: leaves changing colors and falling to the ground, the air gets crisp, ducking under awnings in the rain, and pulling out that extra blanket from the linen closet. November in San Diego: sudden and brief rainshowers followed directly by sunshine, misty mornings before 9am, and each house and street making every evening stroll feel like a charming Tim Burton movie.
I usually associate November with gloominess, light’n’easy feeling, romance, jazz, star-crossed love, and seasonal depression. Think - Carrie Bradshaw when she gets entangled with Mr. Big for the 872nd time. I hope this playlist evokes all of that for you.
