Happy Mallie Monday! May I present to you, perhaps one of my favorite playlists yet, JUNE.

It might be that JUNE is just one of my favorites because I created it for one of my favorite people: my very best friend, my twin flame, my Gemini queen, my Lana/Ye, my sister, my heart. So yeah, ok, I’m a little biased.

Alex - Happy Birthday, my love. Who else could serve as a better inspiration for this month’s playlist? You and your multitudes inspire me every day, Gemini, and I wanted JUNE to be a reflection of those multitudes. Some things you hide, some you put out there for the world to see, and some are just between us. I cherish the fact that I am lucky enough to know you, and to share life with you, and to call you my sister. I hope this birthday playlist mirrors that fact.

JUNE (playlist & blog) may be a little longer than the rest, but I just wanted to properly introduce you all to my BFFL. She makes me laugh until my abs hurt, she is brilliant, she is adventurous, she is thoughtful, she is kind beyond reach, she is reflective, she is happiness in a bottle, and she is a lover at heart, like we all are (and like her Cancer bestie is). Somewhere along the road, a higher power sent you to me, and I can’t stop being grateful. 10+ years together on this adventure called life and it still boggles my mind that I get to call you my best friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you: for being born and making my life more full. I don’t know what I would do without you in it. No one but us understands it, even sometimes we don’t. But we are soulmates, through and through, and I can’t wait to live another 50+ years with you down the block.




Ok - enough sap. Mallie Mondays JUNE is a Gemini. She is complex, and intentional. She is confident, wild, and has some serious balls. But, like all Geminis, JUNE has a secret side. I won’t tell you. You’ll have to figure it out for yourself. I must preface with this, though - she’s pretty perfect.

While I tied in most of Alex’s favorite songs and artists, I also remained true to the Mallie Monday playlist structure. There are new songs, old songs, classics, and some you’ve maybe never heard before. As always, listen top to bottom for optimal enjoyment. In JUNE, you’ll find a mix of good vibes, nostalgia, heartbreak, angst, badassery, and a whole lot of self-confidence. Oh, and JUNE is not family friendly....sorry y’all, but Geminis just don’t censor! What can I say?
