What a Mallie Monday, indeed - right?!

I can’t believe it’s already April, guys. Is it just me or is this year flying by like a flash in the pan? As odd as it is to say - my life feels very full right now, and I’m worried that I don’t have any time to absorb what’s happening. Beautiful moments are passing me by, and I have no control over being able to stop and analyze, pause and repeat, etc etc. And so the story goes - time flies when you’re having fun (even guiltily).

This is my way of saying - no matter where you are at in your life, the bad and the good, don’t forget to breathe, exhale, and take it all in. Remember where you are. Ground yourself in the present. 

April, from a young age, has always made me think of jazz - specifically the jazz I grew up listening to with my father. This playlist is jazz-heavy, and jazz inspired, but it’s also got a rock element to it that I think compliments the rest very nicely. April is bouncy, angsty, large and in charge, taking what she wants!!!!!!!!!! She’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind!!!! That’s the energy I want you all to take with you through the rest of the month. April’s playlist is meant to embody that feeling you get when you have a huge, huge crush.
